Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor of Management at Western Kentucky University. His research interests are centered around strategic leadership, strategic human capital, workplace diversity and discrimination and organizational justice, innovation, and international business. Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. in management from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a concentration in strategic management. Additionally, he holds a master's degree in strategy and international business from INSEAD, Seoul National University, and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Yonsei University. His work has appeared in prestigious academic journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies. In addition, he has been nominated for the Williams and Newman Award at the Academy of Management and the best paper prize at the Strategic Management Society. Dr. Kim is actively involved in academic research and has a strong research pipeline with projects in collaboration with scholars from a variety of universities. Aside from that, he is also very passionate about data collection, data analysis, sport analytics, and learning new research methods.
